Loan repayment program
The Delta Dental Loan Repayment Program is accepting applications until September 30, 2022. Our one-year student loan repayment program will help Virginia dentists and dental hygienists in exchange for 12 months of service with a safety-net clinic. Through this program, a total of $250,000 is available — up to $20,000 for dentists and $10,000 for hygienists.

Congratulations 2022 Grant Recipients!
In 2022, the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation awarded $576,100 in grants. These eight grant recipients plan to use funds to advance oral health practices and expand access to dental care across Virginia.

A healthy smile is a powerful thing. That's why the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation is committed to improving the oral health of all Virginians.
The Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation reports its community impact work annually through our Smile Report to the Delta Dental Plans Association. The Delta Dental system provides community support in all fifty states and our national community impact efforts addressed our communities' most pressing needs last year, including responding to COVID-19, addressing health inequities and disparities, and advancing oral health.

The Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation creates healthy smiles for all Virginians through education, program development and community partnerships. We strive to achieve this mission by focusing on these three pillars: supporting the dental safety net, boosting prevention and accelerating learning.
